Mathematical, Theoretical, and Philosophical Physics

At Johns Hopkins, I am working on the foundations of physics, developing theories of emergent spacetime and connecting various forumlations of Hilbert space factorizations and quantum information to algebraic structures. I am also working towards understanding the role of Topological Quantum Field Theory and the theory of Generalized Stochastic Processes in the foundations of physics and quantum gravity. These have various implications for the interpretations of physics and emergence of time, which I explore in Explanation and Philosophy of QM.

I am advised by Sean Carroll. I am currently transitioning to a joint Physics/Philosophy doctoral program through the Interdisciplinary Humanistic Studies (IHS) Program.
